Anthony Alfredo Rebounds with Strong P12 Finish at Texas Motor Speedway
FORT WORTH, Texas (May 2, 2026) — Anthony Alfredo and the No. 96 Big Rack Spirits Chevrolet team delivered a much-needed bounce-back performance in the Andy’s Frozen Custard 340 at Texas Motor Speedway, finishing 12th in the NASCAR O'Reilly Auto Parts Series.
After qualifying 18th, Alfredo showed steady pace early, advancing to 13th by the end of Stage 1. The team faced challenges in Stage 2, slipping back to 19th as track conditions evolved and track position became critical.
Despite the mid-race setback, Alfredo and the Viking Motorsports crew stayed focused, making key adjustments for the final stage. Their persistence paid off, as Alfredo worked his way back through the field to secure a solid 12th-place finish—completing the full race distance and avoiding the issues that had impacted recent outings.
The result marks a positive step forward for the Viking Motorsports organization, a growing two-car team that continues to produce strong, competitive results against some of the sport’s top organizations.
