Anthony Alfredo Delivers Solid Nashville Performance, Looks Ahead to Pocono

LEBANON, Tenn. (May 31, 2026) — Anthony Alfredo and the No. 96 VaVia Dumpster Rental Chevrolet brought home a 17th-place finish Saturday night in the Sports Illustrated Resorts 250 at Nashville Superspeedway.

With qualifying washed out by rain, Alfredo started 12th based on NASCAR's performance metric formula and spent much of the evening battling inside the top 15. The Viking Motorsports driver finished 13th in Stage One and 14th in Stage Two while maintaining solid track position throughout the first two-thirds of the race.

As the race transitioned into the final stage, changing track conditions left the No. 96 Chevrolet searching for balance. Despite the handling challenges, Alfredo and the Viking Motorsports team stayed on track, avoided trouble, and collected another valuable finish.

"Nashville is always a good time, especially with VaVia Dumpster Rental," said Alfredo. "We started the race very strong, but chased our balance in the final stage. I'm glad to have a clean race to build off of heading into the off weekend. See you all in Pocono next."

The finish keeps Alfredo 17th in the NASCAR O'Reilly Auto Parts Series championship standings as the series takes a nearly two-week break before returning to action at Pocono Raceway on June 13.

For the No. 96 team, Nashville was a race of execution and persistence. While the handling faded late in the event, Alfredo remained competitive throughout the evening and delivered another clean finish for Viking Motorsports as the team continues its 2026 campaign.
