Anthony Alfredo
The newest member of the JR Motorsports family, 18-year-old Anthony Alfredo, joins the highly successful Late Model team for 2017 with momentum, coming off a season in which he won the Southeast Limited Late Model Series Pro Division championship.
The Connecticut native ran 26 races for Lee Faulk Racing in 2016, winning once and adding 15 top-five and 23 top-10 finishes in 26 starts. Seven of those top-five finishes were inside the top three. A year before, in 2015, Alfredo made 18 starts for Faulk, posting a victory, seven top-five and 15 top-10 finishes.
After beginning his career in go-karts at age 6, in which he won two championships, Alfredo stepped away from the track to focus on other sports and hobbies. At age 15, he returned to the driver’s seat in Legend Cars at Bethel (N.Y.) Motor Speedway. Traveling south to Charlotte for the 2015 Winter Heat Series at Charlotte Motor Speedway and further south to Orlando (Fla.) Speedworld for the Winter Nationals led to the opportunity with Faulk that propelled him to the seat at JRM this season.
Alfredo is a senior at Keystone National High School, where he takes online courses to further his education and receive his high school diploma while building a career in his passion. When not on the track, Alfredo competes in other sports and pursues hobbies that include dirt biking and wakeboarding.
